The round brilliant cut diamond is prong-set in a custom 14-karat white-gold mounting (stamped “14K”) with modified “V”-style basket head and cathedral-style shank that is 1.9 mm wide at the head, 1.8 mm wide at the side and 1.7 mm wide at the bottom. The modified head accommodates a flush-fitting wedding band.
